Our Night Owl Shelf Decor will be a beautiful addition to your home. Crafted with several wood species and a special patterned acrylic to resemble the night sky, it is a unique piece that is sure to be a conversation starter. We love working with these natural woods and patterned acrylic; one of the most interesting things about these materials is that, due to their unique grain and pattern qualities, no two pieces will ever look exactly alike.
Measuring approximately 11″ tall and 10.5″ wide, this piece is perfect for displaying on a shelf, desk, or mantel. Made from several woods including red cedar, white oak, maple, mahogany, walnut, and cherry. The night sky is represented by a thin patterned acrylic, highlighting blues, purples, and greens which will remind you of the northern lights. This acrylic is transparent, which allows the light to pass through it to make it more vibrant and beautiful, but can also create shadows of figures behind it (please see picture).
